The embossed metal floral design has been painted blueberry blue with black on the ends and bottom. All original hardware and in working condition but no key for the lock in this case.
All of our trunks are completely refinished from top to bottom, inside and out, never a detail overlooked. We add the nylon "feet" on all trunks to prevent scratching hardwood floors and snags over carpet. They glide easily over most surfaces. You will appreciate this feature the most when pulling it away from the wall to open it.
We like to make our own leather handles to suite individual trunks. All are double layered and stitched and sometimes even three layers for the heavier trunks. We were quite pleased to find this piece of leather with the alligator type print. Just another little touch of class you won't find anywhere else.
Most trunks were originally equipped with an inside tray, without it, the trunk is simply not complete. Here at Armand's Antique Trunks it's our policy to complete all our trunks to look as close to the originals as possible. The tray is just another example of that commitment.

We strongly urge you to shop around and compare quality as well as price. You just won't find trunks like these anywhere else. Truly one of a kind. Refinished to last forever.
